How Do Hot Rolled Steel Plates Differ From Sheets?
Hot rolled steel plates are typically thicker than sheet material and are either produced by cutting coil to the desired length or, in cases of heavier and wider dimensions, steel plate is produced by rolling steel ingot one plate at a time to a predetermined length.
