Large Volume Hot Rolled Pickled & Oiled (HRPO) Coil Supplier

Hot rolled steel is well suited for many applications, however, there is residual scaling that is formed on the steel’s surface during the cooling process. Hot-rolled pickled & oiled, also known as HRPO steel, is produced in order to remove this scale and when the hot rolled steel is immersed in an acid bath the scale comes off. This process is known as pickling. After the pickling is complete, a layer of oil is applied to the steel’s surface to prevent oxidization or rust formation. Free of scale and oiled to inhibit corrosion and formation of rust, HRPO coil has a clean and smooth surface that is well conditioned for use in a variety of situations.
